First aid provision in the workplace saves lives. It can prevent minor problems or injuries from becoming major ones. It can help employers reduce costs from injury and absence from work. It is a legal obligation for all employers to make sure their employees receive good first aid care in the workplace. You will need to carry out your own risk assessment to establish what level of cover you require at your workplace. Check here the number of first aiders HSE recommend for each location. The contents of our courses can be adapted to suit the different requirements of the participants, for example for office, shop or factory workers. We also run refresher courses and specialist courses for those working with children. more…. |
